"My latest work is part of the ongoing art series 
Between Lines: Chronicles of place and time. 

This body of work is an exploration of color.

Growing up in Cuba, a place of many flavors and 
contrasts, color is what I always remember the most 
about any location.

My compositions are made out of thousands of fine, 
colorful sewing threads. The repetitive and highly 
detailed process of creating color fields thread by 
thread, line by line, creates a rhythm or sensation that 
acts as a catalyst for emotions.

My work strives to convey a sense of place through 
color, one line at a time."
